The quintessential Vanlife accessory. Nothing says Van Life quite like it. From the simplest of tasks such as cleaning your solar panels, to lawn chairs on the roof, or a full family luggage rack, a side ladder is the perfect addition. 

Sprinter Side Ladder Design

There are lots of options out there when it comes to side ladders for your Sprinter. We designed this ladder to stand out a bit.  We have created custom formed ladder rungs that not only look cool but also allow for one to attach some of their overlanding necessities.  The Avatar side ladder attaches to the factory roof rails on top of the van and is securely mounted to the bottom with our custom aluminum bracket.  We would hope you will still choose one of our custom roof racks for your sprinter but our side ladder does not require it.

We crafted this ladder to be “high and tight” with a sleek profile and minimal protrusion. While the upper bracket bolts to the factory rail, the bottom bracket sits nicely tucked in and mounts directly to the body. The first step is angled to match your foot approach angle allowing the bottom of the ladder to be the closest possible fit. The lower ladder rungs on the other hand, were designed with wider faces and mounting holes so you can attach such accessories as fuel/water cans, shovels, etcetera.

Sprinter Side Ladder Construction

The Avatar Offroad Sprinter Side Ladder is constructed of aluminum tubing and hand fabricated in our Salt Lake City facility. We use aluminum to keep the weight down and eliminate the chance of rust. We fabricate custom ladder rungs to give the ladder a more distinct look and a better feel.  The flat rungs are easier to grab onto and feel better on your feet.  We finish with a black powder coat that looks good with any Sprinter color. All mounting hardware is included.
