Centi Van Storage Box

I reached out to Avatar to ask questions on the fit of the Centi Box on the Ford Transit, how the fit works with the vertical bike racks installed and how the Niko box would look on the other side and which recommended width (24 or 28”).

Not only did the team offer to send me some pictures, they actually changed the configuration of the boxes on their own van so that I had a true understanding of the fit.

Additionally, I shared photos of my van with them upon installation completion. They expressed their in interest in how the material arrived and asked if there were any issues. The packaging was awesome and there was no denting or damage to the packaging materials.

The boxes look awesome installed and the hinge material really pops. I have had many compliments already.

I ordered the Transit Massif, Niko 28”, Niko Topper and the Centi box. I also have the Kuat bike rails, but have not installed yet.

The door/shelf on the Niko, with the bottom of the Niko aligned with the fixed bottom of the Centi, is the perfect height for a camp stove or grill.

You can the Avatar team care about their product and the customer experience. Definitely recommend.

Just wrapped up 8 days on the road with this new box. Performed well. Met all expectations!

I've been searching for years for a box big enough for wheelchair wheels and discovered this! I love that I can change the shelf heights and fully open my back doors again which I couldn't do with a hitch box. This box is beautiful and very well made. I have the massive storage system and Mega storage box--truly amazing products. I replaced my owl box and sherpa with these--the craftsmanship, utility of the product, and weight capacity are a night-and-day step up. If you are looking for a storage box, I strongly recommend looking at these Avatar products.

I recently purchased the Massif system, Mega box and spare tire carrier for my 2017 Sprinter and plan to pickup the Ski 4 Box for the other side shortly. After exhaustive research among the competitors (including Owl) I concluded that the Avatar product line by Wes and his son Colton offered the best quality, widest choice of sizes and use-cases, and coolest cosmetic touches! Even a hint of flashy orange as a nod to Colton's OSU alma mater (I suspect). I even visited Avatar's facility in Salt Lake Fall 2024 to meet personally with the shop staff and see the production process first-hand.
