Ski 4 Storage Box

We bought an Avatar Ski Six box with the Massif Mount and had Avatar install it (driver side on a Winnebago Revel). Wes, Julie and Colton were super personable and answered all of our questions. The purchase and install were timely and seamless. The set up made our ski trip a lot more enjoyable (rather than shifting skis/luggage around within the van or climbing on the roof to access a box). Looking forward to using it in the summer for inflatable SUPs. Thank you Avatar!

I purchased the Avatar Massif and 4 ski Storage Box on Black Friday for the back of my Storyteller and it has been a fantastic addition. Julie was a pleasure to work with and I was able to speak with the design engineer over the phone and he answered all my questions. The storage box holds our gear securely, even on rough terrain, and the build quality feels durable enough for long-term use.

Installation was straightforward with the help of the online videos. Whether for organizing skis, camping essentials, tools, or small adventure gear, this storage box makes access easy while keeping everything in place. A must-have upgrade for van life!

I had never heard of Avatar until I noticed a ski box on the back of a sprinter in Maine one weekend. I had been looking for one for our Pro Master. I contacted them to inquire and ask questions. I recently purchased the Massif system, Mega box and spare tire carrier for my 2017 Sprinter and plan to pickup the Ski 4 Box for the other side shortly. After exhaustive research among the competitors I concluded that the Avatar product line by Wes and his son Colton offered the best quality, widest choice of sizes and use-cases, and coolest cosmetic touches! Even a hint of flashy orange as a nod to Colton's OSU alma mater (I suspect). No one in the industry makes products with the attention to detail that Avatar does--their Ski Box is testimony to their innovation and create solutions! I even visited Avatar's facility in Salt Lake Fall 2024 to meet personally with the shop staff and see the production process first-hand. The Avatar folks are flexible and continuously innovating, plus they are family-owned and operated. Highly recommended and supported.

I recently bought a Ski 4 Box, it is awesome!!! It is very thoughtfully designed in how it fits 4 pair of wide freedride skis and 4 sets of poles. The hinges, locking mechanisms, and really everything else is thoughtfully designed by skiers and the quality is A+! I am replacing another ski box that was nowhere near this well thought out and designed. Both prior to purchasing and a few months after using it, I had a few questions and when I called, the owner and his wife were happy to talk and discuss everything that I needed to know. Super nice people!!
