Avatar Announces New Front Bumper for the 2019+ Sprinter at Salt Lake Off-Road & Outdoor Expo 2023

Avatar Offroad showcased our latest sprinter van products at this year’s Salt Lake Off-road Expo.  With our booth, two fully built out sprinters, and prizes to give away, we had a great time meeting fellow SLC van enthusiasts and giving them the opportunity to check out the latest Avatar Offroad Sprinter van products.  

On display was our 2022 Mercedes Sprinter Van with several of our new products.  

The Off-road Expo was a perfect opportunity to reveal our latest Sprinter product.. 

A custom aluminum front bumper with built in winch. 

We’re excited about this design. We set out  to make something that stood apart from the rest of the custom Sprinter bumpers on the market today. It was created by our head engineer who also happens to be our son.  He was inspired by the fact that the Sprinter van was once badged by FreightLiner.

The finer details of the Sprinter winch front bumper

It’s crafted from 5052 sheet  aluminum because it’s lighter than steel and it won’t rust. The bumper is winch ready for up to a 12k winch.  The winch mount itself is reinforced steel so that it can hold up to the demands of an off road recovery. The ¼” steel mounting plate secures the winch seamlessly into the front bumper grill design. In our humble opinion powder coating a front bumper does not last more than a couple years which is why we use Duraliner coating on our bumpers.
