Unlike many other offerings on the market, we use specialty brackets and engineering to mount the Massif in the strongest parts of your door to prevent damage. Compatible with all of our boxes, it is the obvious choice for anyone looking to mount rear door storage. It is also compatible with our Bike Posts to easily store your bikes. Many of our van lifers even use our Massif as a ladder for roof access!

Add an Avatar Badge!

Rid yourself of that plastic Mercedes badge, the sleek, custom anodized Avatar Badge elevates the look and function of your Massif.

Why use the Avatar Badge Replacement?

The mounting holes under the Mercedes OEM emblem provides a very strong and clean mounting location for the Massif. The OEM Emblem is plastic, however, and not suitable for structural mounting. The simple solution is to use stainless carriage bolts to mount through the existing holes. This looks good, but it also leaves a void where the OEM Mercedes badge once resided. For a more complete and finished look, we created the Avatar Badge. Designed with a relief for driver side mounting brackets, the Avatar Badge becomes a structural threaded plate which is then used to secure the center of the Massif.

For Passenger Door: It is required that you chose either the Avatar Badge or the stainless carriage bolts for proper mounting.

For Driver Door: The Avatar badge optional, spacers are provided to move the OEM Emblem farther way from the door to create space for the mounting bracket. The Optional Avatar Badge doesn’t require spacing.
